When I started Sportplex I weighed a little over 500 Lbs. Fourteen months later I now weigh about 350Lbs.  I still have a way to go, but I  have all the confidence in the world that I will get there. I also have all the confidence that I would not have come this far without Sportplex.  I could write lines and lines about the top quality weights and machines, the indoor and outdoor pools and the extensive cardio room, most of which I can use now, but I guess most places have these.  However, most places do not have the people that set Sportplex apart. When I was at my heaviest, it was hard to convince myself to join a gym, but I did, expecting the comments and back talk about my weight.

 

To my surprise and elation, what I heard were the “you can do it”  “way to go” and “you’re doing great!”  It’s hard to express the relief and the incentive those few words give you. This goes double for the staff; extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. I now realize I can lose the weight I need to lose to live my life healthier and longer. I also realize that I truly doubt this possible without my friends and their support at Sportplex.
